OPERATING HOURS
The marina is open from 8am until Midnight, from mid-May to Sept 30th, and members can access their berths with their access card or access code.
Access cards and codes are only issued when due payment is completed, proof of insurance provided, and the registration form is completed.
Those interested in purchasing a berth or renting for the season are asked to complete the registration form and speak with the club manager.
STAFF
As we hire a number of students over the summer, hours will fluctuate, but in full season, staff are on-site from 8am to midnight 7 days a week.
The office is open from 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
ACCESS CARD/ACCESS CODES
Access cards issued to Senior members give them access to the clubhouse, marina, gated parking lot, and the slip.
Access cards issued to Seasonal members give them access to the clubhouse, marina and the slip.
Access cards issued to Slip Pass users give them access to the slip only.
Access codes are given to Senior and Seasonal members only and are used for the main marina gate and the clubhouse. For security purposes, access codes are unique to each member and should not be shared with others.
CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse is where you will find the marina staff as well as the washrooms, showers, and washer/dryer.
Bagged ice and canteen supplies are also available.
NOTE: SBYC is a cashless organization so only payment via credit card, debit card, or e-transfer will be accepted. Cash payments are not accepted.
OFFICE
The club manager is available in the Office building, Monday to Friday from 8am - 4pm.
PARKING
The gated parking lot is available to Senior members only.
The gravel parking lot is available to Seasonal members as well as guests of either Seniior or Seasonal members.
BOAT LAUNCHING
SBYC does not offer or coordinate boat launching but a service is offered through the Friends of Shediac Bay who operate the crane on site.

NOTE: Please make sure that your dues are paid and your insurance information is on file before scheduling a launch.
Without payment and insurance, your launch may be delayed.
SLIP PASS
For those that do not require a berth, but simply want to be able to launch their vessel for the day, SBYC offers a seasonal SLIP PASS CARD (SPC) for $300 (HST included).
Users, who purchase an SPC, get access to the slip to launch or remove their vessel as many times as required during a given season (mid-May to Sept 30th).
SPC are allowed to leave their vehicle and trailer in the non-gated parking lot for the day.
SPC holders will be given an access card to operate the gate and a parking tag that must be left in the vehicle that identifies your vehicle and trailer license numbers.
Please check with the office to confirm where to park your vehicle and trailer to ensure we maximize parking availability. No overnight parking is permitted.
Access to the slip is unique to the SPC holder - using your card to allow others to enter the slip may result in the SPC being cancelled without reimbursement.
INSURANCE - SPC
A minimum of $2M of general liability insurance is required to access the slip and a copy of your insurance is required. Please ensure that you have your proof of insurance before arriving.
Please note that we are a cashless operation - all payments must be made by credit or debit card or e-transfer.
BOAT STORAGE
SBYC does not offer any boat storage on site.
MAST STORAGE
SBYC does offer winter storage of mast for Senior members only - see Club Manager for details.
GENERAL STORAGE
SBYC does not allow storage of any type on site.
PUMP OUT
SBYC does offer a pump out service at the end of "A" dock - see staff for assistance.
BBQ
SBYC have BBQs on site that are available at no cost to members.
BIKES
SBYC has 2 bikes that are available for use to all members. Please see staff for keys to the lock.
PATIO TABLES
Patio tables are available throughout the marina grounds for use by members.
INTERNET
Internet is available to members through the SBYC_EXT wi-fi network - please see staff for the password.
