SWIM, DRINK, FISH: BLUE FLAG Accreditation
Blue Flag is an award program for environmentally-friendly beaches, boats and marinas for which the SBYC has successfully met its criteria since 2021.
In 2025, there were only 25 Blue Flag beaches and marinas in Canada and only 9 were marinas.
We are proud to say that the SBYC is one of two Blue Flag marinas in Atlantic Canada.

In 2026, Shediac Bay Yacht Club is part of a limited group of 10 marinas in Canada, to obtain Blue Flag accreditation, and one of only two in Atlantic Canada.
